Baby just took her first unassisted steps, and I think she was more excited than we were. Of course, captured in lovely HD for the archives.

Baby’s on another one of her late night rampages. Won’t sleep at normal time, screams at the top of her lungs for no reason. Maybe teething?

I actually prefer turkey chili over beef chili. Does that mean I’m strange?

I’m realizing that my tweet per day ratio is directly related to which days I’m in the office. I should take vacation more often.

Just landed in Chicago. The “on” magazine had an interview with Dwight from the office. My old friend Tyler Shields shot the photos. Surreal

Mariners won, yay! Would love to say the DS experience was amazing, but other than ordering beer I didn’t find much benefit. So much promise

just ordered two beers at the game using my nintendo ds. Took 5 minutes from order to delivery. Too cool.

batman was great, though a little longer than it needed to be. The theatre was awesome though.

At the original starbucks. I’ve never seen more stressed employees. There’s a line of 20 or so drinks to be made, people taking photos, ugh

went out in downtown Seattle last night. I didn’t realize there would be so many homeless. Felt like San Jose, and just as dead.

just leftthe science fiction museum and music experience near the space needle. Pretty boring to be honest. And no EDGE in there. No fun.

First leg
The iPhone held up really well during the flight out to Seattle. I had it fully charged before stepping onto the plane in Raleigh and used it every minute I was allowed. Watched Family Guy Star Wars (45 min), Blade Runner (110 min), Helvetica (90 min) and Dr Horrible part 1 twice (15 min x2). Around 300 min of video (5 hours) and music whenever walking. And battery after I landed? Was low, but had...

there’s a guy in the tram wearing a bluetooth headset. I wonder, did he just put it on, or was he wearing it throughout the flight?

walking on the jetway, get cut in front by two women. What’s the rush? Want to sit down longer? Some people, just stupid.

At RDU. Haven’t seen a single iPhone or touch other than mine. In SJC, that’s all you see.

always reassuring when the agent notes the smoke under the plane is not affecting the flight. Firetrucks are just visiting?

The test
About to leave for a long weekend trip to Seattle. For the first time I can remember, left the laptop at home. Relying only on the iPhone this time. Loaded up with podcasts, movies and bought Hodgman’s “Areas of my Expertise” audiobook. Let’s see how this goes.

Just heard a few shotgun blasts while sitting at home. If it were San Jose, I’d be concerned, but here? Par for the course.

Scratch that, the sound is fireworks. First rainless night since the 2nd. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if they had shotguns with them.

Busy weekend. Inlaws are coming to visit and the house is a mess. I know every married guy knows that feeling.

At a BBQ today, wore my df helmet tshirt. Guy wearing an iphone on his hip asks, what’s daring fireball? Says it looks like a cowboys logo.

One of the fun things about moving to a new area is discovering new beers. I’m enjoying a Magic Hat “flavored not quite Pale Ale” right now.
